Ergad Gold
Ergad is a Principal and Executive Director of the Momentum venture capital group.
Momentum manages the $30 million venture capital fund, Momentum Ventures Unit Trust which was one of the first funds licensed by the Federal Government under its Innovation Investment Fund program.
Ergad is also a technologist with many years experience in product development and commercialization. From 1987-1990, Ergad was a Policy Adviser to the Australian Government’s Minister for Industry, Technology and Commerce with responsibility for the IT, aerospace, pharmaceutical and other industries.
He is a previous member of the Australian Federal Government’s Industry Research and Development Board.
Ergad is currently on the Board of companies within the Momentum portfolio, is on the Board of the Cooperative Research Centre for Polymers and is a member of the Commercialisation Committee of the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health.
